The marked trails of Simpsiö invite you on nature excursions: Piispanpolku 2.7 km, Kalliomaanpolku 3.7 km, Rytilampi Loop 1.1 km, and Tohni Trail from Simpsiö to Old Karhunmäki 6.3 km. The nature trails are marked with signposts and route poles. Each trail has its own color symbol.
There is a lean-to shelter at both trailheads, as well as at the intersection of the Rytilampi Loop and Kalliomaanpolku. In the upper part of the ski center, there is a lean-to and a dry toilet. Another lean-to can be found in the lower area of the ski center, near the swimming spot and fitness stairs.
Rytilampi Loop 1.1 km
- The trail circles around Lake Rytilampi.
- On the eastern shore of the lake, at the intersection of the Rytilampi Loop and Kalliomaanpolku, there is the Rytilampi lean-to shelter.
- The Rytilampi Loop is marked with blue signs.
- The shortest route to the Rytilampi Loop is from the Ski Lodge along Piispanpolku, a distance of about 0.8 km. (Ski Lodge: Urheilumajantie 28, 62100 Lapua).
Kalliomaanpolku Trail – 3.7 km
- The trail skirts the mountain so that there isn’t much climbing involved.
- Along the trail, at the intersection of the Rytilampi Loop and Kalliomaanpolku, there is the Rytilampi lean-to shelter on the eastern shore of the lake.
- The route is marked in the terrain with yellow signs.
- The starting point of the trail is at the lower station of the Simpsiö ski center, at the far end of the parking area. The trail begins to the left along duckboards. (Simpsiörinteentie 28, 62100 Lapua).

Piispanpolku 2.7 km
- Piispanpolku climbs up the mountain.
- Along the route, the nature varies from dry pine forest to lush, spruce-dominated grove.
- Piispanpolku is marked in the terrain with red signs.

Tohninpolku
- Tohninpolku is a route from the Simpsiö Ski Center to the Wanha Karhunmäki recreation center.
- There is a lean-to shelter along the way.
- The trail starts from the lower station of the Simpsiö Ski Center, at the far end of the parking area (Simpsiörinteentie 28, 62100 Lapua).
- The endpoint is Wanha Karhunmäki (Karhunmäentie 923, 62100 Lapua).
